I’d like to introduce you all to Sherlock. He’s a new addition to our household and already I’m smitten. For some reason he sort of reminds me of Eve from WALL-E.
In case you can’t tell, Sherlock is a space heater. And in case you can’t tell from the photo, the space that he is heating is our bathroom. The bathroom that becomes an arctic tundra during the night. The floor becomes an icebox that will chill you (and wake you up) as you stumble half-asleep to take a shower.
I used to be so hearty. Apparently my New England upbringing and my college years spent in upstate New York were quickly forgotten by my temperature regulation system. I spend my days at work chilled in my office, wearing two, three, or four layers to keep my teeth from chattering. I go to the bathroom to run my hands under warm water before they turn to purple. When did I get so soft??
Anyways, back to Sherlock. He’s great. He has a timer so he turns on a couple of minutes before the aforementioned stumbling into the shower. The floor is no longer a frozen ice rink. It’s a revelation.
