I got up this morning in Miami. Yup, I threw caution to the wind (actually, I think this was a case of being more cautious) and booked a hotel last night instead of driving back up to Cocoa Beach. It was a pretty nice hotel…they gave me a cookie when I checked in. Also, my bathroom had a bidet.
Before I headed back up to Cocoa I decided to check out South Beach. Well, it sure is pretty down there. The ocean is a clean aqua color and there are beach chairs and umbrellas set out for people to use on the public beaches. The sand is not as nice as I was expecting, but the view can’t be beat.
Try number 3 for the RBSP launch at 4:05 AM on Thursday. I’ll be up in a few hours with my fingers crossed!
