The Start of a Great Adventure (272/366)

First off, please excuse the formatting for the next week, as I will be blogging from my phone.

We got a late and leisurely stay to our day today. After picking up our car…a Crown Victoria…I feel older already. Seriously, that thing is a boat. It’s a crazy old new car. The front seats have armrests!

We finally hit the road around noon. The first thing we noticed us that everyone slows down around us. Turns out the Crown Vic looks like a cop car. The ride was actually quite beautiful. I was driving so I didn’t get any pictures, but the leaves are turning right now so there are some amazing landscapes. I hope to get some good shots on the upcoming week.

After stopping for dinner we made it to the hotel around 11. We’re staying at the hotel a reserved for our wedding. It’s pretty nice. Phew!  Not putting our guests up in a craphole!

Now it’s time for bed before a busy day of meetings tomorrow.
