Man, Halloween has come and gone. It came out of nowhere and suddenly we’re moving on to turkey and mashed potatoes.
This Halloween was, probably not epic, but a ton of fun. On Saturday during the day we checked out the Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear on the National Mall. If you want to know how it was, well, I can’t tell you. This is approximately what I could see if I was 18 inches taller:
I’m glad I went, but I couldn’t actually see or hear anything. I saw a lot of the back of heads and heard a lot of police sirens. The signs were amusing though. We also randomly met a cool guy named Ben who we hung out with for the day. If Ben somehow manages to find this, hi Ben!
For Halloween Andrew and I went to a Halloween party where the theme was red. This was our costume. Do you get it?
I am…Red October. Andrew is…a hunter…
The Hunt for Red October!
Except that lots of people thought Andrew was the Brawny man.
I didn’t make any special Halloween treats this year. Last year was full of homemade candy corn, pumpkin cupcakes, and the fall festival baking session to end all baking sessions. (Huh, probably should of shared those before Halloween…)
But now we’re onto November (and November like temperatures…our house is rivaling The Jackster’s house in terms of temperature) and before we know it’s going to be my favorite holiday!

Nice costume! I was a road.
And the rally was amazing even though I got a cold because I camped out there starting at 2:30 in the morning 🙂
