We’re hitting the open road tomorrow and heading up to NEW YORK CITY. That’s right, we’re hitting the big time. I’m so excited. I’m already planning my visits to Times Square (I hope I see the naked cowboy!), the Today Show (darn it, they don’t film on the weekends, do they?), and that Statue of Liberty place (actually, I’ve been there before). I can’t wait to get my very own “I (heart) NY” shirt too!

Ok, not really. We’re going up to the city to have a reunion of sorts. It’s going to be super awesome, I’m sure of it. I’m not entire sure of the schedule of events but I know that it involves a lot of eating. And some drinking. And then some more eating.

So, the suitcase. That little tiny, old fashioned suitcase is Andrew’s. I got that for him for Christmas (thanks Etsy! I finally understand why people like Etsy.) because he wanted a suitcase WITHOUT wheels. Do you know how hard it is to find a suitcase without wheels? Very hard. Do you know why? Because they don’t make suitcases without wheels anymore. Because why would anyone want to be LESS convenienced? There’s no good reason, that’s why. Anyways, I went vintage and was able to find him this teeny tiny little travel suitcase for him to lug around (lug is probably not a good idea since I don’t think just my shoes would fit in that thing, tote perhaps?) on his weekend jaunts.

Ha, but because his suitcase is tiny, that means there’s no room for some sweet knock off watches and a foam Statue of Liberty crown. He’s going to miss out.
