Andrew has always wanted Buzz Lighyear sheets. Today his dream came true.
This is just one more reason that we were meant for each other. I also dreamed of having Buzz Lightyear sheets. Actually, that is not true (and would be totally ridiculous. I mean really? Buzz Lightyear? I would have totally gone with Rex sheets. Buzz was so pompous).
Ok, I did have a minor Buzz Lightyear obsession. I used to wear light up Buzz Lightyear slippers, and one year for my birthday Melissa got me a child’s Buzz Lightyear pop-up tent which was subsequently used to stuff about eight of my friends in before a surprise party for me the following year. Have I mentioned my friends are awesome?
But anyways…Andrew likes Buzz Lightyear. I like Buzz Lightyear. Melissa is coming to visit this weekend and since Elise is here and occupying the guest room, we figured we shouldn’t make Melissa sleep in the bathtub (which, I know for a fact, she has done before). So we got her an air mattress and thanks to the magic of the Target buyers, I was able to fulfill a lifelong dream of Andrew’s. Also, since Melissa is going to be sleeping on Buzz Lightyear sheets, I feel like there’s some long, meandering, really wavy, in-no-way-round circle coming to a close.
