Weekends here are never boring. This morning started with our weekly yoga class. We practiced outside today and by the end I thought I was going to melt. It’s beautiful practicing out on the deck overlooking the ocean, (I feel like we’re in a yoga video) but the Florida sun was brutal today.
After practice, John and I finally made good on The Kick. I’m not sure when this was agreed upon, but John agreed to let me practice some taekwondo with him. Sadly, I have no photos of this.
Today was also the Super Boat International speed boat race. None of us any idea of what to expect, but it seemed like a pretty big deal around here. So a bunch of us gathered at my condo to watch the race. I actually had a pretty decent vantage point from the balcony. We all gathered in anticipation of the start of the race and…it was really boring. And long. After the third or fourth lap, we all pretty much lost interest. I guess it as the same appeal that NASCAR has, but I don’t get it.
But, we did have awesome brunch!
I spent the rest of the day recovering from all the volleyball and yoga we’ve been doing. My arms are going to be so buff.
