It’s no secret I love bread. It’s also no secret that I love to just eat straight loaves of bread. I’m not going to deny that I can sometimes polish off an entire loaf of bread in a day or two, but it’s not like I go around wolfing down loaves of Wonder Bread every week.
Some of my coworkers here have recently discovered my eating habits. For some reason, I give off the impression that I eat A LOT. I’m pretty sure I don’t eat as much as it appears I do. My one coworker always seems to find me as I am diving into a hearty serving of something so he often comments, “Whenever I see you, you’re eating. And it’s not just a little thing. It’s an entire loaf of bread or a whole pineapple.” This might be true. But I don’t usually eat the ENTIRE loaf of bread or WHOLE pineapple. I’m simply too lazy to dole out individual portions to myself beforehand.
I was tempted to eat a large portion of this challah tonight. But as I had just been asleep for two hours and it was almost time for bed (yes, my sleeping habits leave something to be desired), I decided to hold off. Plus, I can’t wait to see my worker has a shovel a huge chunk into my mouth tomorrow.

Well, people always catch me eating boat loads of ganache and buttercream at work. And I don’t run marathons. You’re in way better shape than me 🙂
