I carry a backpack to work everyday. This is not that strange.
However, today I realized that, although I carry a backpack to work everyday I never actually put anything into it or take anything out of it. I just tote it with me back and forth each day so that it looks like I have something important?
This evening, I decided to take a look at what is currently in my backpack, and no joke – this is what I found:
(321/366)
- A computer sleeve
- A laptop charger
- Hair elastics
- Hair clips
- Parchment paper
- Checkbook
- Bed Bath and Beyond coupon
- Aleve
- Piping tip and coupler
- Target toy ad
Clearly I need to empty my bag out a bit more. For one, that Target ad is probably a month old by now.
The computer sleeve may look pretty standard, except that it fits a computer I no longer use for work. So now I just carry an empty sleeve back and forth with me while the computer it’s meant for sits at home.
The Aleve – $1.99 for two little pills. Total rip off.
The hair elastics, clips, and charger seem pretty normal.
The Bed Bath & Beyond coupon? Well, there’s always a deal to be found there, right?
But two wildcards are definitely the piping tip and coupler and the parchment paper. Has my baking gone too far? Did I think there was going to be an emergency piping situation at work? Did I fear my baked goods sticking to the pan? (Oh, that’s actually a legitimate concern. Ok, maybe it’s not so weird…)
