Seriously folks, I gotta get married ASAP and lock this guy in. Not only did I come home to a table set (with candles!) and this amazing salad, but as I type this, Andrew is cleaning up the kitchen.
After my Thanksgiving gluttony, I’ve decided I need to eat a little lighter. Haha, yes this salad has steak and onion rings on it, but at least it’s a salad? The salad was tossed in a raspberry vinaigrette with some gorgonzola cheese (and I hate gorgonzola, but this was so good!) and then topped with sliced steak and onion rings.
Speaking of onion rings, look at these things –
It’s a thing of beauty. It’s also super delicious. Andrew soaked the onions in some vinegar and milk before tossing them in flour and cayenne pepper. Holy cow, were they good! The batter was just the kind of onion ring batter I like. It wasn’t thick and heavy in the least. It was light, flaky, and super flavorful. Yum yum.
I’m getting totally spoiled over here…
