Ok, Hanukkah started yesterday, but I was in too much of a cake stooper to properly wish you a happy holiday.
This morning I got up and drove up to Columbia for the Annual Taking of the Christmas Card Photo. This is the third year in a row that I have taken the Abels Christmas card photo. I usually end up taking hundreds and hundreds of photos in hopes of getting two or three good shots for them to choose from. This year was not different. In the end I took 398 pictures and I think we found two family pictures to use. Ah well, the joys of digital photography.
However, not only did we have some Christmas cheer, but they have started a little bit of Hanukkah celebrations as well. (Maybe throw in a solstice celebration for good measure too?) So after the pictures were taken, we lit the candles and played some dreidel.
Aubrey was pumped and ready to go with the dreidels. She was double fisting those suckers in the few moments she was looking at me and not bawling her eyes out. (And I wasn’t even wearing the terrifying horse head.)
