I was kind of bored/in a bad mood this evening when I got home from work. I wanted to bake something but I didn’t want to have to clean it up afterwards. I didn’t want to have to deal with scraping anything with a spatula, softening butter, or monitoring batches and batches of cookies. Let’s be honest, I kind of wanted to make a box mix of brownies or one of the break apart cookie dough things.
Instead, I saw this recipe not that long ago online and quite frankly, these things look awesome. They taste awesome too. Like giant Cinnamon Toast Crunch. They were also really easy, required very little preparation, and were basically done and ready to eat in twenty minutes.
You start with a bunch of those giant, burrito-sized flour tortillas. Stacking two on top of one another, you cut out whatever shape you want. I like stars, so I went with stars. Then, you dip the stars in melted butter before coating them in cinnamon sugar.
After lining them up on a baking sheet lined with parchment, you bake them in the oven for about 12 minutes until they’re crispy.
