Well, that just snuck up on me. This seems to be a recurring theme this year. Two months out, I’m aware a holiday is coming up. Two weeks out, it’s still on my mind. Two days out, I’ve completely forgotten the holiday is basically here.
Tomorrow Andrew and I are hosting seder for some of our friends. In an effort to maintain my sanity, I got an early start on the prep tonight. The table is set. The brisket is cooked. The charoset is made. One out of four desserts is done. There’s still plenty left to do tomorrow, but it looks like we’re going to be able to eat before 9 PM.
I would like to point out our fine china, courtesy of the Passover section of Target. I’d also like to note our 10 plagues masks. We seemed to have lost a plague in the move, so it will be a fun activity tomorrow to figure out which one.
