After a crazy whirlwind weekend, we’re home. It’s nice to be back and to sleep in my own bed. This morning Brad’s parents hosted a brunch for all the guests who stayed over which was great because we got to hang out and shmooze with people we didn’t really get to talk to last night.
We hit the road a little after lunchtime and made it back home by mid-afternoon which gave me enough time to nap and relax and Andrew got to catch the USA-Portugal soccer game. It’s kind of hard to believe we have to get up tomorrow and go to work. I need some weekend to recover from my weekend.
The picture above is what Melissa gave me as a bridesmaid’s gift. The picture is of the Nine Muses sculpture which is where Melissa and Brad got married. I can’t wait to frame it and hang it up in our house.
