Taking advantage of my newfound plethora of free time, I’ve quickly booked up my next few weeks with dinner plans with all the people I have been meaning to make dinner plans with for the past few months.
First on the list was Steph I and Ben. Steph and I talked in early May about getting together with the boys and seriously, it took until now for us to have a mutually free evening. Between work and school and derby and weddings and hockey and visitors and trips…we’re busy people.
We met up with them at Pete’s New Haven Style Apizza in DC. That’s some seriously good pizza.
We got two pizzas and basically demolished both of them. I don’t think any of us realized how hungry we were until the food came out. I mean, look at that pie! How could you not want to just keep eating it?
Dinner with Steph and Ben is always lots of fun. Both of them are just truly wonderful people and the kind of people who leave you feeling so happy and good about yourself. They’re getting married in the fall and I can’t wait! Hopefully we have dinner with them again before that!
