Chris and Liz are married! Chris is Andrew’s cousin. I’d actually only met him and Liz one time before their wedding (at our wedding) so I haven’t had a lot of opportunities to get to know them. Despite that, the first time I saw Chris this weekend he gave me a kiss on the cheek and big hug like we’d known each other forever. Both him and Liz are just such joyful, wonderful people and their wedding was full of smiles, laughter, and fun.
We slept in and around lunchtime we headed to the lobby to meet the rest of Andrew’s family. His brother Alex and Alex’s girlfriend Courtney had flown in from California and got to town this morning. We were all starving so we headed to a local pizza place for some lunch.
How many Leach boys does it take to cut a piece of pizza?
Not as many as it takes to tie a tie.
After a bumpy bus ride we made it to the venue which was beautiful. They got married right on the beach and it was awesome. The weather was perfect. There was a cool ocean breeze so the boys weren’t dying in their suits and everyone looked amazing. Liz looked incredible in her dress and Chris was beaming. Their ceremony was short, sweet, and funny. It was a great wedding.
After stuffing myself silly during cocktail hour, we headed to a great reception. Chris and Liz had a seriously impressive first dance and we all had a ton of fun. They had a photo booth which Andrew and I fully took advantage of. After our photo booth performance at Pat and Sarah’s wedding, we knew we had to step it up. This time we got Andrew’s brothers in on the action as too and I think it turned out pretty well.
