After work this afternoon, Andrew and I packed up the car and with Jamie and Johnny in tow, hit the road up to New Jersey for the second weekend in a row. We’re back in the Garden State (do people from New Jersey actually call it the “Garden State” or is it like how no one from Boston actually calls it “Beantown”?) for Andrew’s cousin’s wedding. I’m excited because I’m sure this is going to be a very fun wedding.
Ten minutes into the ride, Andrew promptly fell asleep and woke up just in time to stop for dinner. We had a lovely meal together at Five Guys where I shared my theory on how the Five Guys fries really take away from the greatness that is their burgers. It’s easy to be distracted by the mountain of soggy fries they give you and let it diminish what they’re really good at. This view led me thinking I did not like Five Guys for many years. So sad, because those are some darn good burgers.
So we’re back in NJ gearing up for another wedding. This is number 4 on the year and we’re still going strong.
