This morning was our last morning in Tahoe. After a week of rain, hail, and chilly weather, today was a beautiful day. Which made it even more of a shame that we had to leave. Before heading to the airport though, we took the boat out on the water for some morning waterskiing. It was a great day to be out on the lake, so I’m glad we got to squeeze it in before heading off on the next leg of our trip.
I’m typing this now from Seattle! Yup, we headed to Reno and boarded this weird little prop plane for our two hour flight up to Seattle. It started off a little rough…literally. We were up and down and my stomach was dropping like I was on a rollercoaster. Eventually things evened out and the remainder of the trip was rather uneventful.
After landing in Seattle we met up with some friends for a quick dinner before heading up to the Ballard neighborhood for a little pre-wedding party. Jon, the groom is in a band and shortly after we got to the bar, they got on stage to play us a set. It was fun to see him play and their music selection brought us all right back to high school.

It’s been a tiring day. Tomorrow is the wedding though, which should be a fun time. Jon and Lindsay are a really fun couple, so I’m expecting it to be a blast!
