I came home from work today ready to get stuff done. I’m not sure where this recent burst of super-productivity has come from, but I’ll take it!
Oh, also, we finally met our neighbors! We’ve lived across the street from them for more than nine months, but only knew that they had a blue minivan. Well, now we know their names! We, admittedly, haven’t been putting any particular effort into actually meeting our neighbors besides a quick nod when pulling into the driveway or while shoveling snow, but since we legit live here now, it seems like we should maybe know more about them then what car they drive.
So yes, after meeting the neighbors I went for a quick, but excellent run. It helped that it was slightly cooler today than the usual 90 degree weather I’ve been running in, and I can finally tell that all this running I’m doing is actually doing something. Not only is a five mile run no longer daunting, but I’m able to finish the run strong and feeling good.
Then, it was chair time. I now know for certain that recovering a chair is faster than dismantling it. I’m about half way done and with a few more dedicated hours, I think I’ll have finished a project in record time. I probably just jinxed it though, so this half covered chair will be sitting in my living room for another three weeeks…
