October is here and it seems like we’ve suddenly gone from balmy summer weather straight into the crisp cool air of fall. It seems very abrupt, since it feels like only a few weekends ago I was slowly melting in 95+ degree weather. But, I’m not complaining, because autumn is wonderful.
Autumn means squash is coming back into season which means squash soup in back on the menu. Andrew has really perfected his squash soup recipe over the years and like a good grandma, if you ask him what’s in it, it’s a little bit of this and a little bit of that. But what results is a thick, creamy, slightly spicy, and totally satisfying bowl of soup.
