Merry Christmas!
This year, like every year, we headed down to Andrew’s parent’s house this morning for Christmas celebrations.
Christmas morning we all sit around and fill up on sweets and casseroles that one should really only eat once a year. After we eat a little too much we open gifts and then spend the rest of the day just relaxing and hanging out. Here everyone is diligently working hard on the gift that Andrew and I gave everyone…scratch tickets! Turns out it was a good year as I think they nearly doubled our money winnings.
This years baked good spread included ginger snaps, brownies, cranberry bars, and lemon squares. We brought over at least 3/4 of everything, but I feel like we still have so many baked goods left in our house. Anyone hungry?
And look at what I got?! I whole case of Sprecher Root Beer! This is my favorite root beer and it’s really hard to find. It’s from Wisconsin, but so far I’ve only ever seen it in one store in Maryland. It’s sooo good! Woo, Andrew’s parents are the best!
