Tonight Andrew and I went down to Jen and Evan’s for our first Sunday Night Dinner of 2015. When we got there it smelled delicious as Jen had just put the parmesan crusted chicken on the stove. Actually, let me be clear. The full name of this dinner is Parmesan Crusted Chicken Breasts with Tomato and Basil and Potatoes with Peppers and Onions. Look. You think I kid.
So, you know, it was exactly that. Jen also roasted some broccoli, but calling it “Parmesan Crusted Chicken Breasts with Tomato and Basil and Potatoes with Peppers and Onions and Roasted Broccoli” just seems ridiculous. It was really good though. And since Andrew and I had eaten like six year-olds all day (i.e. not real food) we were both hungry for a good warm meal (even though it was 63 degrees outside today).
But before long it was time to go home. Which means that my glorious vacation is nearing an end. Tomorrow I have to head back to work which means no more late night Gilmore Girl marathons and project-doing. No more lazy mornings and middle of the day errand running. Life is starting again for real.
2015, let’s see what in store for us.
