We found this great pizza place near our house.
I made my neighbor this soccer cake for her birthday.
Jen, Melissa, and I met up in Nashville for the weekend! (Full post coming later.)
We stayed at an Airbnb that had deer heads on the wall.
There was also a snake in the bedroom. (Not a euphemism.)
A cat in the closet. (We freed the cat.)
The main drag in Nashville is lined with honky tonk bars. This is as far as we got.
I had some excellent southwestern corn meal pancakes.
Apparently Nashville has a life-sized replica of the Parthenon. Because, yeah.
I got this weird, clear-ish rootbeer. It was a little bitter for my taste.
Because we’re tourists we tried to go to see a show at the Bluebird Cafe. The people in front of us got the last seats.
So instead we got some gelato.
And we still got to see some great live music.
Jen and Melissa both got new DSLRs, so we spent a lot of time exploring and taking pictures. Jen really got into it. Literally…into the bushes.
We found some incredible pizza at the Nashville farmers market.
My roller derby team is obsessed with avocados and have somehow foisted the obsession onto me. This was a delicious avocado popsicle.
Headed home into dusk.
