52 Weeks – Week 23

I made a lot of cupcakes. Some were decorated like fish.

Some looked like pandas. I think these were my favorite.

Some looked like mini pies.

And some looked like popcorn. Those were eerily realistic.

I also tried to bake the letter “A” into the middle of the cupcakes. They looked more like upside down “V’s”.

I baked all these cupcakes for our friend Allie’s bat mitzvah. Her party was at the Glen Echo Bumper Car Pavilion. Andrew and I were disappointed there weren’t actual bumper cars to ride.

We did get free rides on the carousel though.

On Sunday I skated in the interleague Pride scrimmage. Scandal and I were on the yellow team and we ate bananas.

Sunday we had Andrew’s parents over for dinner and I made these super easy Strawberry Crumble. I’ve already made it again since.
