On Friday, Andrew and I went to see the Book of Mormon at the Kennedy Center.
He looks skeptical, but the show was great.
Andrew also must have lost his mind because he suggested we go to the mall on Saturday afternoon to look for rugs. This combines three things he hates: the mall, going to shopping centers on Saturdays, and shopping. We were successful in buying a rug (which I didn’t take a picture of) and then got ice cream. Because ice cream makes nearly everything better. Unless you are lactose intolerant, then it makes things worse.
It was a very theater-filled weekend, because on Sunday we went to see Newsies.
Our seats were in the 7th row which was awesome. Makes me want to sit up close for every show now. It was a great, big, spectacular Broadway production with huge musical numbers and lots of dudes dancing. I loved it.
I don’t remember taking this picture. We look perturbed.
I was bored so I made Andrew a nylon-lined dopp kit out of leather.
We got a crazy rainstorm and the entire sky was this eerie shade of pink after the storm.
Raindrops.
Liz and I hung out and we got our nails painted. We’re very patriotic.
Then we made popsicles. Raspberry lemonade!
For dinner we made Asian turkey burgers.
I went and got my haircut for the first time in like three months. I need one.
Also, I dyed my hair. This was a crazy process and I had no idea what was happening most of the time.
Now I have red streaks in my hair. They’re pretty subtle, but once you find them, they’re good and red. They didn’t even have to bleach my hair to do it.
