Andrew passed his CFP exam!!!!!!
He brought me a sandwich from Jetties. Jetties is my number 2 favorite sandwich place.
I was asked to guest skate with the National Maulers, our B-team travel team. I was kind of nervous, but I ended up having a lot of fun. Also, I finally got to wear the red scrimmage shirt I made for home team scrimmages before we were promptly instructed to wear white.
I had a lot of fun skating and also forgot to wear an elbow pad for a good 45 minutes, because I’m an idiot. Luckily, this was really all I ended up with to show for my stupidity. It could have been much worse.
We had a blue moon so I got to practice some night photography. Makes me which I had a telephoto lens.
Have you ever heard of making a pancake in a rice cooker? It’s crazy! I think it would have worked better had I made a bigger batch of pancakes.
I made a watermelon feta salad. It looks pretty, but I wasn’t actually that big of a fan. You have to get the ratios just right and I’m not quite there yet.
We met up with Mike and Erin for dinner and tried this awesome Thai place near our old house. Every dish was a hit! (This time we only needed one table though.)
