One day last week I sent Andrew a text saying I wanted to either make a really elaborate dinner or order takeout. I ended up cooking – nothing super elaborate, but still tasty – The Darster’s meatballs!
We took some folks from temple climbing! Lena is a total pro and was up the wall like a spider monkey. Beth was a newbie, but totally held her own. It was so fun!
We met up with Ella for a stupendous Thai dinner. Great food, better company.
Andrew got a new coat! THIS IS SO EXCITING! (He’s been talking about getting a new coat for approximately seven years.)
Christmas baking has begun. Started with gingersnaps.
Also made some chocolate dipped peanut butter balls.
It was our 7th anniversary! Made our annual visit to the Mormon temple.
Found the Korean dolls on one of the Christmas trees.
So many lights.
And you know, a camel.
Since it was raining it was pretty empty. We talked to one of the missionaries for a while and she explained what happens inside the temple. It was definitely interesting.
After visiting the temple we went out to dinner. It started with a cherry fizz soda and an Asian inspired salad that Andrew LOVED.
We had personal-sized wood fired pizza. The crust was the best. Will definitely be checking this place out again!
