My random reunions continue!
Tonight I met up with my Prefrosh, Jen. When I was a freshman in college, she was a senior in high school. She came for a visit and stayed overnight to see what it was like. I don’t really remember what we did, but apparently it was good enough to convince her to come to Cornell. Over the three years we were both there, we would randomly run into each other until we ended up working on the same project team.
After graduation, she started working out here in CA. I saw her a few times, but I haven’t seen her in maybe 4 or 5 years. So when I found out I was going to be in town, I decided to see if she was around. Turns out she was.
We met up tonight for a couple of hours just to shoot the breeze (and some pool, but that was rather pathetic). It was a ton of fun and I’m glad I got to catch up with her for a little while. Hopefully I’ll get to see her more as I might be coming out here more often. Now I just have to convince her to move to the east coast…
